To enhance international exchange and look for potential cooperation, on invitation of Bucheon University,Korea University of Technology and Education and Chungwoon Univeristy, TUTE’s vice-president Prof. Yan Bing, Ms. Zhai Fengjie, Director of International Affairs Office, Mr. Tian Liguo, deputy director of Academic Office, paid a visit to Korea.  TUTE’s delegation first stayed at Bucheon University for two days, exchanging views with its vice-president and Prof. Chi Hyoung Sun, director in charge of international exchange. The two parties talked about short-term exchange student program and communication between two institutions’ faculties, focusing on the teacher training program. Finally, two parties reached some common ground. Later accompanied by Prof. Chi Hyoung Sun, the delegation visited the teaching, experimenting and training facilities of the university.  On leaving Bucheon University, the delegation headed for Korea University of Technology and Education, where they met and talked with its president Dr. Kim Ki-Young. Together the two parties first reviewed the fruits and accomplishments of cooperation in the past and delved into more cooperation possibilities, including exchange and communication programs for students and teachers as well. In the meanwhile, Prof. Yan Bing met with four TUTE students who were currently studying at Korea University of Technology and Education. The vice-president enquired about their life and study there. At Chungwoon University, TUTE’s delegation was received by director of International Affairs Office and shown around the campus, observing the teaching and experimenting facilities.  On the sideline, the delegation also visited TOPTEC, a Korean company; and discussed with the manager Mr. Lee Dong-In about cooperation and internship possibilities. |
